Packers and Pickers

The apple & cherry harvest is a very busy time and the growers employ a lot of pickers and packers particularly backpackers and itinerant workers. Apple harvest commences early March through to May and Cherry Harvest commences in early December.

Employment – picking

At this stage no pickers are required for the 2019/20 apple or cherry season.
